“Does it REALLY matter which DJ company I hire?”

Only if you care about whether your reception is a success or not.  Maybe you’ve heard “all DJ’s are the same”.  To imply that is like saying a mini-van is the same as a Porsche or that 2-VW's equal a BMW.  It’s an issue of QUALITY & EXPERIENCE.  For many couples, less time is spent on choosing the DJ than any other aspect of the reception. This can be a costly & disappointing mistake. According to a recent survey...

"A DJ can make or break the event."  If you don’t believe it, ask any couple that’s hired a lousy dj.  Better yet, ask any of OUR past clients about how much fun THEY had. Chances are, your guests won't say "that was the BEST dinner I've ever had!"  Wouldn't you love to hear them say "Wow! That's the BEST DJ I've ever seen...that was so much fun!" We hear it all the time.  A good wedding DJ should offer you creative ideas before & during your reception. If you have questions about traditional dances, the cake cutting, bouquet & garter toss, etc., ASK US. Please use our expertise!

“What types of music do you have?”

You name it; chances are, we’ve got it.  Do we have everything ever made? Of course not.  If you have a CD that we don’t have, please bring it.  Each Fun! Fun! Fun! DJ carries a complete library, including country, pop, rock, oldies, classical, jazz, etc.
 

“My fiancé and I are very picky about the music we want – & DON’T want played.  How will you accommodate our musical tastes?”

 By listening to you. Remember, if you hire a DJ in whom you have confidence, you don’t have to worry about “micro-managing” the playlist. Occasionally, a couple initially tells us they want to select every song in advance, but once we’ve met & talked, they realize that’s not necessary. We’ll go through your requests IN ADVANCE to find out what you want and don’t want. A “do not play” list is very important to us.
 

“Do you take requests from our guests?”

Unless it’s on your “do not play” list, of course. Remember, our #1 goal is to make you happy.

“Do you have emergency backup?”

We carry backup equipment & in case of emergency, have access to backup DJ's. Since our dj’s own & maintain all the equipment & music, we take care of our gear (vs. a part-time dj that might borrow a sound system & NOT care if it gets ruined).

“Do you offer discounts?”

Definitely. If your party is Sunday thru Thursday, in the afternoon or during our “off-season”, (January-April, November), we’ll take care of you.

“Do your DJ’s smoke and/or drink during events?”

NO. It’s amazing how many so-called professionals (other DJ’s, photographers, videographers) think it’s ok. Yes, it’s a party, but we’re working.

“How many DJ's do you send?”

Since every Fun! Fun! Fun! DJ is experienced & talented, one guy is all you need. That one guy also wears many hats: Disc Jockey, Party Motivator, Music Programmer, Audio Tech, Master of Ceremonies & Vendor Liaison. That means we’ll work with your photographer, videographer & banquet staff to make your party a success. If you know what you’re doing (& we do), one guy is all you need.

Remember, anybody can call him or herself a DJ. Very few have the musical know-how, high-quality equipment, extensive experience& the professional attitude to do the job right.

Some DJs have cheap equipment which means lousy sound. There are DJs who’d be fine at a school dance, nightclub or radio station, but who are clueless at a wedding.  There are DJs who only carry the latest hits, but are easily stumped if older tunes are requested. OR, who have the classics, but don’t keep up with the new stuff.
